The lack of accessible information about waste collection sites and insufficient environmental awareness hinder the adoption of sustainable practices by the population. In this context, this study proposed the development of a high-fidelity prototype for an application focused on mapping waste collection sites and promoting environmental education. To achieve this, the project followed the methodology outlined in the Project Development Guidance Manual (GODP) by Merino (2016), adopting an applied, exploratory, and qualitative approach based on analyses and tests aimed at ensuring interface usability and efficiency. As a result, a functional and user-friendly prototype was created, aligned with user needs and sustainability principles.
