This profile emerges as a way of undertaking at the university, with the management of students, offering consulting services to micro and small companies based on theoretical knowledge of the classroom, on the engagement of the team and on the availability of incentives offered by the university or partners. As a non-profit organization operating in the third sector, it has management and strategy challenges due to its particularities. The Strategic Planning comes as a systematic and logical tool to create and implement possible strategies and focused on the stipulated objectives based on the internal and external environment, challenges and limits the organization may have. Knowing that the tool is an accessible knowledge at educational institutions that covers junior enterprises, due to its relationship with innovation and technology, the present work evaluates the level of adherence of junior companies with the use of Strategic Planning. In a representative sample of Brazilian companies, the objective of the study is to compare and understand the factors that influence the success of the activities of the junior enterprises, based on the use of the tool. This work is considered as a qualitative exploratory research that adopts survey methodology based on the application of electronic questionnaires, due its fast distribution among the target audience of the research.
