Therefore, production strategies have been gaining more prominence and relevance in the productive sector, and with this, maintenance has ceased to be a support activity, only for cases of unplanned corrective interventions, and has begun to play a strategic role in ensuring the reliability and business assets. In this context, this study aims to prepare a proposal for a program of production planning and control in a micro brewery in the metropolitan region of Belém. The need to formulate a roadmap for preventive maintenance was made because the company presents high rates of unplanned corrective maintenance, which damages the financial gains, reduces the reliability of the equipment, compromising the efficiency of the operating sector, and consequently the competitiveness of the company in the craft breweries sector, a growing market. Initially, an attempt was made to understand the maintenance situation in the company, to understand how its production process works and to identify the equipment that presented the highest defect rate, and that most needed corrective interventions, and to act in this way in a preventive way in order to reduce the frequency of failures, and consequently losses to the company. Therefore, a maintenance control plan was developed that would meet the demands of the company and be better adjusted to its reality. All the steps of this methodology were described, as well as the results achieved.
