Furthermore, the study intends to analyze the consequences for the regional scenario of the protests in the involved countries, which persist to this day. The research is grounded in the growing relevance of social media in the era of information and globalization for states, within a power resource context. In light of neoliberal theory, it is acknowledged that states are not the sole actors influencing the international stage. The hypothesis is that the media acted as a dynamic catalyst, amplifying the voices of protesters during the movement, shaping public perception, and redefining political narratives in the digital age. The article is characterized as a case study employing an analytical-descriptive, qualitative, and interdisciplinary methodology. The inductive method is used to achieve its objectives, and secondary sources, such as academic studies and news from mass media, are consulted for data collection. In conclusion, it is found that the media played a significant role in constructing, mobilizing, and disseminating ideas and norms that shape perceptions and interactions among international actors, acting as a dynamic enhancer in the development of the protests.Língua PortuguesaAbertoMediaSocial mediaPowerArab springTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC)
