The importance of this work resides on to the lack of national academic studies related to this subject. Bibliographic and documentary researches were used to better understand the relationship between design and animation in addition to the historical and contemporary context of the animation production market and its broadcast at global and national levels. Field researches and structured interviews were also carried out to better understand the needs and preferences of this project's target audience, characterized by both children viewers and adult investors. Based on design methods in addition to the steps described to generate ideas and make a pitch for an animated series, it was possible to establish the relationship between design and animation, confirming the importance of the graphic designer's work in the pre-production part of an animation project.Língua PortuguesaAbertoPitchGraphic designAnimationTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC)
