Thus, this research has an explicative approach, which is supported by experimental methods, where were applied design methodology complemented by techniques of character design in order to develop MMORPG characters that represent Amazon. For this, first, were understood the fundamentals of digital games and MMORPG type, in addition to the context involving Amazon’s representation in the digital games’ environment. From those, the research became aware of some stereotypes linked to the Amazon region, as well as the importance of representativeness in digital games for gameplay optimization and immersion in the narrative.
