Therefore, the present research applied the exploratory study method, by using databases and information available in the literature. The applicability of this method provides a robust and clear reality of the entrepreneurship sector under investigation (the electrical supplies business in Brazil), the marketing's role in business strategies, and the digital marketing practices most likely to be implemented. In addition, quantitative and qualitative interviews were carried out to identify and characterize the customer profile and consumption pattern of the focus group; and with the business owner, for in-depth understanding of the business strength and limitations, allowing the outlining of digital marketing strategies likely to be implemented, considering the reality and goals of the company. The findings of this research revealed three fundamental pillars of marketing strategy for the present electrical supplies company case study, brand recognition (consumer perspective), relationship and sales.
