Levantamento florístico, diversidade e classificação sucessional das espécies arbóreas da área do Parque Antônio Danúbio, Ananindeua, Pará, Brasil. 2023. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Bacharelado em Engenharia Florestal) – Universidade do Estado do Pará, Belém, 2023.https://bibliotecadigitaldetcc.uepa.br/handle/riuepa/505Green spaces are vital in an urban environment, since they promote healthcare, social welfare, quality of life and an escape valve for the population, in the search of thermal comfort. In the urban context of the municipality of Ananindeua, Pará state, lies the Antônio Danúbio Environmental Park, classified as an Area of Relevant Ecological Interest (AREI), created by the city law N° 2472, on January 05, 2011, with an approximately area of 3,5 acres, on the side of the highway BR-316. Nowadays, the park still lacks basic research aiming to know its arboreal flora, diversity and stages of ecological succession, for a better knowledge of the existing vegetal communities. With this in mind, the objective of this research is to realize a floristic survey for the evaluation of the diversity and analysis of the successional classification of tree species in the park. In order to carry out the research, a collection of materials was made along the entire length of the park trails delimiting an approximately area of 0,8 ac. Only species with a diameter of DAP≥ 10 cm were identified and classified. To evaluate the species diversity, the Shannon-Weaver index (H´) and the Pielou index (J´) were calculated. The successional classification of the species was evaluated in: pioneers, late or early secondary, climax and without characterization. In the floristic survey, 121 woody individuals were found, distributed in 26 families and 58 species, highlighting the Fabaceae family as the richest in number of species (11). The Shannon diversity index (H´) was 3.80 nats/species and the Pielou index (J´) was 0.93, indicating that the area is home to a wide variety of species. The distribution of species in ecological groups was mainly composed of late secondary (24). Therefore, the value of the diversity index found represents a high diversity of forest species in the Antônio Danúbio Environmental Park.Língua PortuguesaAbertoAfforestationEnvironmental parkxEcologyLevantamento florístico, diversidade e classificação sucessional das espécies arbóreas da área do Parque Antônio Danúbio, Ananindeua, Pará, Brasil.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC)
