However, although they are a well-known tool for promoting the identity of a people, little is seen that reflects the everyday characteristics of Belém's culture. The project aims to celebrate, strengthen, and represent the cultural identity of the city of Belém do Pará through the creation of a board game with a narrative and elements inspired by the daily life of the region's population. Under a defined methodology, bibliographic research was conducted on the use of board games as tools for valuing the customs of a locality, combined with the concepts of emotional design and analog game development. This also included an interview with the owner of a local game library, the application of questionnaires with the focus group, and image analysis to support the project's development throughout its creation phase.
