This research brings historical and actual market data that is specifically aimed at the women's underwear industry, in addition to addressing relevant aspects of the manual embroidery technique such as the surface design in textile material. The creation of patterns that were applied to the surface of the pieces using the manual embroidery technique, was developed from the study of Amazonian flora, which, because it contains a great diversity, could contribute creatively to the elaboration of the patterns.
