This study deals with the adoption of Lean Manufacturing practices in the sector of wooden blocks production in a company located at the Industrial District of Icoaraci, in Belém. The study goal is analyze the actions implemented on the wooden blocks production cells, through the data collection of the situation of the process parameters before and after the study, the analysis of the application of lean practices in the process and evaluation of the results according to the premises and goals defined to the project. The analysis were done in the superior and inferior blocks production cells of the three bestseller models of products. After the application of takt time and line balancing tools, it was observed that the process parameters had shown great improvements, which the adjustments and adaptations of operations and machines promoted an adjustment of four workstations, so that the labor was distributed to another processes and cells along the factory. In addition, the productivity of the studied lines had increased 21%, in average.
