With the growing popularity of artificial intelligence technologies, there is a discussion about the possibility of applying these tools in the BI process for dashboard creation, potentially making these activities more efficient and effective. In this context, the present study aimed to identify the potential of using artificial intelligence as an effective tool for creating dashboards. To achieve this, a case study was conducted using the Qlik Cloud platform, a BI tool that incorporates AI-based solutions to assist in dashboard creation. It generated control panels from a fictional database to assess the impacts of artificial intelligence on the process. The analysis of the results revealed that AI played a significant role in automating processes in data analysis and dashboard creation, although there are areas that need improvement in terms of textual comprehension.
