The research motivation is grounded in the increasing dialogue between International Relations and mass culture products, along with the notable approach that superhero films have taken about relevant themes in the global geopolitical landscape. The adopted methodological approach includes bibliographic research for theoretical grounding, highlighting relevant concepts and theories from International Relations. Additionally, narrative analysis of selected cinematic works was conducted to understand how the themes are represented and explored throughout the films.
