As a result, it is necessary to expand proposals for efficient solutions, so that social housing, not limited to standardized construction, disregarding the particularities of the place of installation and contributing to the disposal of waste to the environment. Use containers as a alternative housing is a efficient solution to make these homes more sustainable, with a low cost construction. It is necessary that the projects with these alternative housing should consider the particularities of the environment that will receive these dwellings, especially when we speak of Brazil, a country with great territorial extension and varied characteristics, topographic and climatic. This work has as main objective to propose an interior and furniture design for a social housing in container in city of Belém, besides contributing with references for the development and expansion of researches in the subjects addressed.
