Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC). 2024https://bibliotecadigitaldetcc.uepa.br/handle/123456789/13The present work focuses on the analysis of race and its role in the formation of the states of Brazil and Argentina, comparing the experiences of both countries to understand their similarities and differences in the role of race, focusing on black people, in their state formation. The research is primarily based on studies of race related to modernity, colonialism as a historically significant factor in the formation of the analyzed states, and the theories of the decolonial movement that seek to analyze power dynamics characteristic of the colonial model, with a specific focus on race categorizations made by the decolonial movement. Thus, a comparison is made in the construction of the Latin states, Brazil and Argentina, with the aim of providing an efficient framework for investigating the importance of race and racial relations in the development of these Latin American countries. The project is characterized as a comparative study, of qualitative and interdisciplinary nature, and it uses bibliographic sources for data collection.Língua PortuguesaAbertoRaceBlack peopleColonialismBrazilArgentinaInternational RelationsDecolonial theoryO Negro na formação dos estados brasileiro e argentino: um estudo comparativo.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC)
