Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Bacharelado em Engenharia de Florestal) – Universidade do Estado do Pará, Belém, 2023.https://bibliotecadigitaldetcc.uepa.br/handle/riuepa/374Hydrocory plays a fundamental role in the dispersal of individuals in an estuarine environment made up of floodplain, mangrove and igapó areas. The dispersal of species in flooded environments is mainly due to the action of the tides. The aim of this study was to identify and describe the types of diaspores found on a stretch of beach in the community of Água Boa, in the town of Joanes Marajó. In order to accomplish this, three collections were made during the months of March and May 2022 and April 2023, followed by the identification and recording of these diaspores. 55 morphotypes were collected and 30 species were identified, distributed among 29 genera and 11 botanical families. The most representative families were Fabaceae, Arecaceae and Meliaceae, which together accounted for around 70% of the species identified. All the species were found with fruit and seeds, except for Hura crepitans. During the collection, a diversity of developmental stages was noted among the species, with special emphasis on the presence of diaspores in stages of viability and decomposition. Therefore, the research carried out highlighted the importance of hydrocoria as a significant factor in the dispersal of species, playing an essential role in preserving the natural characteristics of the area.Língua PortuguesaAbertoDispersionDiasporesHidrochoricDispersão hidrocórica e sua importância para espécies do Delta do Marajó.Artigo Científico (TCC)
