Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Bacharelado em Relações Internacionais) - Universidade do Estado do Pará, Belém, 2023.https://bibliotecadigitaldetcc.uepa.br/handle/riuepa/486This work seeks to provide an analysis of the social and identity influence of famous personalities in the post-positivist context of International Relations, starting from the social construction that the North American singer and artist Lady Gaga impacts and triggers changes in the socially constructed reality among her most emphatic fans., called Little Monsters on the international scene. The concepts used to develop the analyzes are based on the Constructivist Theory of International Relations, Queer Theory and the Theory of the Culture of Emotions in International Relations. To develop the work, semi-structured interviews were carried out with the singer's fans, relating concepts from the field of International Relations with the construction of her own, socially constructed identity between her and her supporters spread around the world. The results found demonstrate that the artist influences and develops significant changes in the lives of his fans, especially those belonging to the LGBTQIA+ community and followers, in addition to improving emotions related to mental health issues, feelings of belonging and acceptance, even when these transformations were not originally the central purpose of his art.
