The challenge is to find a suitable and satisfactory method to analyze the company’s criteria, reducing to the lowest possible the costs that suppliers represents to the organization. The present study aims to analyze and propose a suitable model of selection and evaluation for suppliers of a construction industry company, in Pará State, Brazil. The study is based in a multicriteria approach to decision make, more precisely, in Analytic Hierarchy Process principles and tools, counting their specificities on the process. The methodology involves bibliographic studies, visits, data collection using professional interviews, searches in the company’s database, using tools as Microsoft Excel to the sequencing process and analysis. Multicriteria support tools has become usual to select inputs, materials or services, however complex it may be the criteria and sub criteria, since the results have been a better reliability, good deadline accomplishments and qualities getting better. After the results, the article has shown the main supplier which was the one with the best global score, considering all the criteria involved.
