Análise multivariada e o estabelecimento de novos indicadores comuns de desempenho financeiro nas empresas. 2018. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Engenharia de Produção) – Universidade do Estado do Pará, Belém, 2018.https://bibliotecadigitaldetcc.uepa.br/handle/riuepa/643This work aims to analyze the interdependence of asset management indicators of publicly traded companies of different sectors, using the Factor Analysis, method, as one of the aspects of Multivariate Analysis. In order to accomplish the study analyzes, it was necessary to understand issues related to the analysis of balance sheets, financial leverage, business competitiveness and economic and financial indicators. The multivariate analysis is a statistical model, considering the analysis of the correlation of multiple variables and the influence of each variable in relation to the other. The Factor analysis is one of the methods of multivariate analysis that consists of generating new factors underlying the initial variables, in order to explain them in a summarized way. The following steps were developed throughout this work: a) Extraction of balance sheet data and DREs; b) Determination of the indicators of patrimonial management for analysis of the companies; c) Evaluation of the degree of interdependence through Factor Analysis; d) Identification of the factors underlying the company's patrimonial management, in order to find alternative standards that can aid in economic-financial performance and decision-making. As a result, the total of 2 underlying factors in relation to the 7 economic and financial indicators were obtained: General Liquidity, Dry Liquidity, Immediate Liquidity, Current Liquidity, Asset Turnover Index, Representativeness of Current Liabilities and Stock Representativeness. On the other hand, generated factors were denominated: Financial Liquidity and Profitability, considering the concepts of Production Engineering. The KMO test presented a value of 0.739, classifying the appropriation level of the analysis as appropriate to the validation of the model. The Bartlett test obtained a value of 398.192 (level of significance at the 1% level) and the total variance explained obtained an explanation degree of 83.54%. Thus, the results were satisfactory and validated according to the basic theories, fulfilling the objectives of the work.Língua PortuguesaAbertoMultivariate analysisFactor analysisEconomic and financial indicatorsAnálise multivariada e o estabelecimento de novos indicadores comuns de desempenho financeiro nas empresas.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC)
