Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Bacharelado em Relações Internacionais) – Universidade do Estado do Pará, Belém, 2023.https://bibliotecadigitaldetcc.uepa.br/handle/riuepa/618Since its genesis, in 1993, La Via Campesina represents a major force against the predatory practices perpetrated by the neoliberal paradigm, distinguished by the ascension and consolidation of the Washington Consensus. The transnational movement encompasses several grass-root organizations of peasants, indigenous, migrants, rural wage workers and small farmers among other rural groups around the world. From the start of the 21st century, these dynamics particular to the modern world-system have taken a distinct turn in Latin America, presenting new challenges for the international articulation of La Via Campesina. Under neoextractivism and the colonial matrix of power, deeper are the surexploration of territories and its common goods, as well as the domination based on gender, race and class of those communities rooted to the land. In this regard, this monograph aims to analyze how La Via Campesina has been articulated to re-exist the ongoing neoextractivist dynamics in Latin America. Therefore, a descriptive single case study was conducted as methodological tool, conceptually and theoretically oriented by World-Systems Analysis and Decolonial Theory. This research has shown that the Latin-American Coordination of Peasant Organizations (CLOC-Via Campesina) is a key-actor of the movement’s international articulation, specially in relation to the struggles for agroecology and land reform.Língua PortuguesaAbertoVia CampesinaLatin AmericaNeoextractivismColonial matrix of powerTransnational Social Movement OrganizationsA Articulação internacional da Via Campesina no marco do paradigma neoextrativista Latino-Americano.Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC)
