Caracterização florística e fitossociológica da regeneração natural do Parque Ecológico Gunma no Município de Santa Bárbara (PA). 2023. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Bacharelado em Engenharia Florestal) - Universidade do Estado do Pará, Belém, 2023.https://bibliotecadigitaldetcc.uepa.br/handle/riuepa/501The increasing number of urban areas and with them the intensification of anthropic activities, intensifies, thus increasing the pressure on forest remnants. However, in some cities in the Amazon it is still possible to find fragments of forests with a wide richness of flora and fauna, which need to be preserved in view of the relevance of this ecosystem in general to the environment. The Gunma Ecological Park (PEG) consists, mostly, of a dense dry land rainforest, with an approximate area of 347 ha, the place where the research was carried out. The necessity to understand the restructuring processes of the local flora, in which the purpose of study was to evaluate the floristic composition and the structure of the natural regeneration of the Gunma Ecological Park, a forest remnant located in the County of Santa Bárbara/PA, localized on metropolitan region of Belém (MRB). To carry out the research, phytosociological tools were used in the data obtained, determining the floristic composition, describing the phytosociological structure and evaluating the species diversity of natural regeneration. In the study area, multiple allotment method was used, with 20 allotments of 5m x 5m (25 m2) totaling 500 m² of sample area randomly distributed in the PEG. In order to evaluate the phytosociology and the diversity of the natural regeneration of PEG, calculations such as: Absolute Density (AD); Relative Density (RD); Absolute Frequency (AF); Relative Frequency (FR); Absolute Dominance (DoA); Relative Dominance (DoR); Importance Value Index (IVI); and Shannon diversity index (H'). During the study, 308 individuals were sampled, belonging to 81 species, 56 genera and 36 families. Among the most representative families, Burseraceae stood out with the highest values to (IVI%) and (DR%). The most relevant species were Mabea caudata, Protium pilosum, Iryanthera laevis, Symphonia globulifera, Eschweilera coriacea and Licania membranacea, which together accounted 46.33% of the total IVI. The diversity indices, Shannon's was 3.61 nats.ind-1, Pielou's equability of 0.82 and Simpson's of 0.05 not indicating a low ecological dominance and a vegetation with areat richness.Língua PortuguesaAbertoAmazonForest fragmentsDiversity IndexCaracterização florística e fitossociológica da regeneração natural do Parque Ecológico Gunma no Município de Santa Bárbara (PA)Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (TCC)
